The review left by another user on Jan 2nd 2017 should ring alarm bells and serve as a reminder that consumers should do their own careful research before seeking cosmetic treatment. The said review states that it has been alleged that the clinic owner (Ffyona Mckeating) has pretended to some to be a doctor?
What is objectively true, from a quick Google search, is that Ffyona Mckeating does not appear on the GMC register, nor the NMC or GDC register for that matter. So if she has ever claimed to be a doctor (or dentist or nurse), then such claims would be patently false. It is extremely frowned upon for a layperson to be injecting filler (or any substance) into a patient.
Complications of filler include necrosis and blindness, which are more likely to occur in unprofessional hands. It is also fraud and a criminal offence to pretend to be a doctor or registered health professional.
