I’ve had lip filler twice with the consultant clinic.

The first was with Dr Raph who was super lovely, made me feel very calm and clearly took a lot of care and effort over my lips.

I was really happy with the shape but the filler didn’t last at all - I’m talking max 2 months.

The second time I went I asked for Dr Ralph but got Dr Natalie (I believe) and Ffy the clinic owner.

They didn’t even let me begin before they started saying how awful my filler was and it needed dissolving right away... I didn’t have the heart to tell them it was their filler. Also, it was so dramatic because there was hardly any left.

I think it was just a way of getting me to spend another £200.

Ffy and Dr Natalie kept giving each other smirky eyes as if they were in on something - it made me feel really uncomfortable.

They did a patch test on my arm for the dissolver after telling me how highly allergic people can be to it but only left it for 10 mins while I filled out a form before injecting into my lips.

I went away and ended up in hospital an hour or two later after suffering an anaphylactic reaction to the dissolver. I was in resus and had to be given an adrenaline shot.

I spent 2 nights in hospital.

I did contact Ffy to ask for advice before going in to hospital and she tried to call me back to be fair but i was then in no fit state to be aware of my phone.

Knowing I had another appointment booked I was shocked they didn’t contact me again as a follow up.

I had already paid for the 2nd lip filler in the dissolver appointment so I went back to get it done.

I waited 2 hours after my appointment and was eventually seen by one of the new young girls they post all over Instagram.

She was super lovely and happy at first so I kind of forgave them for all of the above.

Once the filler was finished however she got up and went straight behind the desk without a word that she’d finished.

I asked her if it was done and without even looking just said yeah.

It was so awkward and uncomfortable- I didn’t know whether to get up and go or wait for some after care - nothing!

I just grabbed my coat and was like “ok thank you”. Still no looking up! I walked out feeling totally perplexed.

So strange!

Again, the filler lasted a month max. I’ve been to another injector and it’s the same quality with the shape but has lasted me so much longer.

I think their Instagram is totally deceiving

Reason of review: Bad quality.

Location: Telford, England

Has anyone seen that ffy and consulatant clinic are backing a young lady who was given fillers by a beautician? They have been on television/taking it to their MP’s etc saying non medics shouldn’t be allowed to do fillers. Bit of a joke considering people have been saying ffy herself was injectingn ans posing as a medical professional!!

Hiding in plain sight - disgraceful

This is negligence. See a solicitor.

Make a claim against the clinic and report Dr Natalie Boyd to the GMC. She is a disgrace to the medical profession.

They must have given you Vitrase instead of Hylenex. A qualified doctor would never use Vitrase because of the known allergic reaction potential.

They also should be fully prepared to treat an allergic reaction if they are going to inject Vitrase. This is so irresponsible and upsetting.

Is Vitrase cheaper?

Wow, no wonder Dr Raph left. Also his photos look very different to The Consultant Clinic’s images. You should be contacting trading standards, GMC and legal advice for this terrible and poorly handled experience.

Please please PLEASE go to a solicitor and trading standards! This is horrifying - if this is true, they could seriously harm a patient.
